Participation Criteria - The participant laboratory should have CMC for coarser than 205 mg
The participating Laboratory should carry their F1 class or better weights to Octagon Site for calibration of weighing balance up to 10 kg. A schedule will be shared to each participant laboratory.
Note: Participation criteria defined above, is based on present NABL practice of ILC, where CMC of reference lab should be superior (smaller measurement uncertainty) than the participant’s CMC. All Participant labs should ensure that the participation criteria have been met while applying for the PT. The participant lab should not report estimated uncertainty, superior than accredited CMCs for that parameter for PT measurements. If Estimated uncertainty is coarser to accredited CMCs then Estimated uncertainty should be reported by the participant laboratory.Â

PT Item - Weights
Parameter - Mass 2g (E1 Class), 20g (E1 class), 200g (E1Â Class) and 500g (E2 Class)
Participation Criteria - The participant laboratory's CMC should be greater than  0.003 mg for 2 g, 0.006 mg for 20g , 0.027 mg for 200 g & 0.26 mg for 500g weight.
