PT Item Description – BS-VI 4 Wheeler Gasoline Engine 1.0 Lit Capacity and Manual Transmission
Parameter – CO, CO2, THC, NOx , CH4, Particulate Matter and Particulate Number as per AIS 137- Part 3
Participation Criteria : Any Vehicle Emission Testing laboratory with or without accreditation for ISO/IEC 17025:2017 can register for this PT Testing Round
No. of Participants – 10 Nos
Time Bounding PT – The Participating labs must finish their test within 7 working days from the date of receipt and support to ship the PT item back to Octagon. For any delays further to return the PT item will be charged back for delays.
Determination of Assigned Value
The assigned value to be determined through robust mean of participant results with algorithm A as
per ISO 13528:2022. SDPA (standard uncertainty of assigned value) to be evaluated from participant
test results as per algorithm A.
Instructions to Participants – After successful registration a Technical Protocol will be provided to the Participant
Performance Evaluation – Following Judgment used for Z scores
a) |Z| score ≤ 2 the score indicates “satisfactory” performance and generates no signal.
b) 2< |Z| <3 the score indicates “Questionable” performance and gives warning signal.
b) |Z| score ≥ 3 the score indicates “unsatisfactory” performance and generates an action signal.
Note: The PT Item will be delivered to participant’s Laboratory registered address by transporting the PT item using trailer and after completion of tests the same trailer will be used to transport the PT Item.
It is mandatory for Participating Lab. to submit PT measurement results along with the following documents – –
- Raw data sheet(s) – PDF format
- Method used for PT Item measurement should be provided in the Annexure 1 – Result Sheet.
